Through focused daily practice, they learn how to infer meaning, analyse language, identify evidence and structure high-quality responses. Each session is designed to build confidence when approaching challenging texts and exam-style questions.

Our flagship session combines comprehension and creative writing in one structured lesson. Students explore high-quality texts, develop analytical responses, learn exam techniques and apply these skills to their own writing. Guided modelling, discussion and independent practice help students strengthen both their reading and writing. Includes a 10-minute break.

How much homework is set?
Homework is designed to be purposeful rather than excessive. Most tasks take between 20 and 45 minutes to complete and are focused on applying the skills covered during the lesson.

Do students need to attend all four weeks?
No. Students can attend individual days, individual weeks or the complete four-week programme. However, students who attend multiple weeks benefit from the full progression of skills and teaching.
