Mastery is the core TJ Tutors programme.
Rather than developing comprehension and creative writing separately, children work across both disciplines as part of one structured English curriculum.
Mastery is available across 11+, KS3 and GCSE, with the curriculum adapted to the demands of each stage.

Complete English development, specialist teaching and individual academic intervention.
Private Client is designed for children who need a greater level of individual intervention and academic oversight alongside the complete Mastery curriculum.
The programme brings together three connected elements: complete English development, additional specialist teaching and regular private intervention.

This provides the complete English curriculum across comprehension, analysis, vocabulary and writing.
Your child also follows one additional specialist pathway:

The specialist pathway is recommended according to the evidence we see in your child’s diagnostic assessment and subsequent work.
This allows additional teaching time to be concentrated where it is most needed.

6 × 60-minute private lessons across the 12 weeks
Approximately one lesson every fortnight — six hours of individual teaching in total.
These are not six isolated tutoring sessions following a generic curriculum.
We use your child’s assessments, submitted work and progress across the programme to determine what should be addressed individually.
