Creative Writing Mastery

Designed for students wanting to really hone their skills, this course dives deeper into Narrative Techniques, exploring sophisticated storytelling, Character Development, and tone. We also delve into Persuasive Writing, Debate, Diary, Report and other forms. Perfect for those aiming to refine their writing to achieve top marks.

11+ Comprehension Skills

Students will study a curated list of carefully selected books, including classics like The Secret Garden and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Each week focuses on analysing an extract, answering multiple-choice questions, and honing VIPERS skills (Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explanation, Retrieval, and Summarisation). This course builds Analytical Thinking, Vocabulary, and an appreciation for literature, all while mastering PEE and PETAL comprehension techniques.

Comprehension & Creative Writing

Focusing on VIPERS skills (Vocabulary, Inference, Prediction, Explanation, Retrieval, and Summarisation), students will analyse complex texts, develop critical reading skills, and tackle Verbal Reasoning, Multiple Choice and Worded Comprehension questions with precision. In the second half of the class, we build a structured introduction to Story-Building, focusing on crafting compelling Narratives, Descriptive Writing, and Exam-Focused approaches. Students learn how to tackle various creative prompts confidently.

11+ Maths Mastery

This course covers all key areas, from arithmetic to Algebra, Geometry, and Problem-Solving. With timed drills, real-life applications, and Exam-Style Questions, students build both speed and accuracy.
